Welcome to Saven (“Saven”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website savenspace.com (the “Site”) and your purchase of tickets to our events, workshops, and experiences (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing the Site or purchasing a ticket, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or purchase any Services.

1. Who We Are

Saven is a Montreal-based event and experience company inspired by women and everything that a woman is. We host curated gatherings such as workshops, game nights, creative experiences and other in-person events (the “Events”).

For now, our Services are focused on in-person Events. As we grow, these Terms may also apply to future offerings (physical products, gift baskets, digital products, etc.), and they will be updated accordingly.

2. Eligibility

By using this Site or purchasing a ticket, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years old, or
You are using the Site under the supervision and with consent of a parent or legal guardian.

If you purchase tickets for others, you are responsible for ensuring that they meet the age and participation requirements for the Event.

3. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe the rights of others
Disrupt or damage the Site, our systems, or other users’ experience

You agree not to:

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its related systems
Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access or interact with the Site without our written permission

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site if you violate these Terms.

4. Event Tickets & Bookings

When you purchase a ticket through savenspace.com, you are purchasing a non-refundable right to attend a specific Event on a specific date, subject to our Return & Refund Policy.

You are responsible for:

Providing accurate contact information at checkout (name, email, phone if requested)
Reviewing the Event details (date, time, location, description) before purchasing
Arriving on time and respecting the Event rules and venue guidelines

Your order confirmation email and/or proof of purchase is considered your ticket. You may be asked to show it upon arrival.

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but once your order is placed and confirmed, the price for that order is locked.
Payment is processed through our third-party payment providers (e.g. Shopify Payments, PayPal, etc.). We do not store full payment card details on our servers.

By placing an order, you authorize us and our payment providers to charge your selected payment method for the total amount displayed at checkout (including applicable taxes and fees).

6. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

Our Return & Refund Policy governs all matters relating to:

Cancellations by you
Cancellations or rescheduling by Saven
Ticket transfers
Refund eligibility (in the limited cases where they apply)

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Late Arrival & No-Shows

Events will begin and end at the scheduled time.

If you are late, you may join the Event, but we will not extend the Event end time or repeat missed portions in full.
If you do not attend, this is considered a no-show, and no refund or credit will be provided, unless otherwise stated in writing.

8. Event Participation, Behaviour & Code of Conduct

Saven Events are designed to be safe, welcoming, and respectful environments.

By attending an Event, you agree to:

Treat staff, hosts, speakers, and other guests with respect
Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or any aggressive or harmful behaviour
Follow all reasonable instructions given by Saven staff and venue staff

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse entry or remove any participant from an Event without refund if their behaviour:

Is disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful
Harms or may harm others or the venue
Violates these Terms or any applicable law

9. Health, Safety & Personal Responsibility

By attending an Event, you acknowledge that:

Some activities may involve physical movement (e.g. light exercise, walking, standing for periods of time, dance, etc.)
You are personally responsible for assessing your own physical and mental condition and determining if you can safely participate

You agree that:

You will notify us in advance of any serious allergies, medical conditions, or relevant needs when possible
You participate voluntarily and at your own risk

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saven is not responsible for:

Injury, illness, or loss resulting from your participation, unless caused by our gross negligence or intentional misconduct
Any lost or stolen personal belongings at the Event

10. Food, Drinks & Allergies

Some Events may include food, snacks, and/or mocktails.

It is your responsibility to notify us in advance of any allergies or dietary restrictions, as outlined in our Return & Refund Policy.
We cannot guarantee a fully allergen-free environment.

We do not assume liability for adverse reactions if you consume any food or drink provided at the Event.

11. Photography, Video & Media Consent

Our Events may be photographed or filmed for marketing, social media, or future promotional purposes.

By attending an Event, you acknowledge and consent that:

You may be photographed or recorded (photo, audio, or video)
Saven may use, reproduce, publish, or share these images and recordings for marketing and promotional purposes, in any media, now known or later developed, without additional compensation

If you do not wish to appear in close-up photos or videos:

Please inform our team when you arrive so we can do our best to respect your preference (e.g. seating placement, avoiding close-ups).

However, we cannot fully guarantee that your image will not appear in group or background shots.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site and at the Events is the property of Saven or is used with permission. This includes (but is not limited to):

Text, copywriting, descriptions
Logos, branding, and designs
Photos, videos, and graphics
Workshop material, handouts, and creative concepts

You agree not to:

Copy, reproduce, republish, or redistribute Event content or Site content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent
Use our branding, name, or logo in a way that suggests partnership, endorsement, or affiliation without our permission

13. Third-Party Links & Services

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or services.

These links are provided for convenience only.
Saven does not control and is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and policies.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We do not warrant that:

The Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
The information on the Site is complete, accurate, or up to date at all times

We may correct errors, update information, or modify content at any time without prior notice.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Saven, its owners, employees, contractors, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to:

Your attendance at an Event
Any purchase or inability to attend

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms, the Site, or any Event will be limited to the amount you paid for the specific Event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is prohibited by law.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Saven, its owners, employees, and partners from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:

Your use of the Site or Services
Your breach of these Terms
Your violation of any law or the rights of a third party

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or any Event will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [your city], Quebec, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we do, the “Last updated” date at the top will be revised.
Changes become effective when posted on the Site.

Your continued use of the Site or purchase of tickets after any changes means you accept the updated Terms.
